Consumer finance, consumer installment loan, and sales finance agencies annual reports, 1972-1978.

Annual reports include name and address of licensee, main office address, business startup date, interest rate charged, other activities for which licensed, analyses of loans and interest, number of lawsuits to recover judgments, checklist for corrections of errors in reports, and property insurance reports showing numbers of policies written and canceled. Consolidated agencies' annual reports also include branch office reports givingsimilar information to that found in main office reprts. Sales finance agencies reports only are included for 1972-1974. Consumer finance agencies are defined as making loans of $1,500 or less; consumer installment loan agencies make loans between $800 and $10,000; sales finance agencies make loans secured by retail installment contracts, retail charge agreements, or outstanding balances under such contracts.
